Frontiersville Series

Description

Within the works of “Frontiersville,” I strived to capture the styles of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century works in America. I also intended to question the intent of an era handicapped by its own shortcomings while striving for the potential and promise of "Manifest Destiny."

It is my intent to create work that challenges the perception of our experiences in the landscape in which we live, and invites us to explore our odd obsession of iconography and precious objects as indexes of achievement.
